Valentine's Day Snowshoe Hike - Nelson Swamp (Easy) - sponsored by the North Country Trail Association.   Coordinator Scott Sellers (315-440-7076) Join us for a snowshoe hike in Nelson Swamp Unique Area. Hiking Distance: 3 miles. Meeting time and place: 1:00 p.m., parking lot at Nelson Swamp trailhead at 3500-3554 Constine Bridge Rd, Cazenovia, NY 13035 (1/2 mile south of the intersection, Ballina Rd and Stone Quarry Rd). Qualifies for NCTA Hike 100 Challenge.

Build a Bluebird House

Full Moon Snowshoe Hike

Limestone Creek Hunt offers its 7th annual off road ~5k fun run and walk, on the carriage trail system west of Lorenzo State Historic Site. The course includes trails on CPF property.  The course will also contain options for a mud trail and water splash. Race proceeds are used to maintain the carriage trails.

Discover your local soil ecosystems and how underlying soils influence the plant communities and land use.  Join a field walk to three soil sample areas to examine and identify soil color, texture, structure, and organisms.  Participants should dress accordingly and plan on getting dirty.
