Join CPF and the Cazenovia College Environmental Club in learning about and celebrating the waters of Chittenango Creek and Cazenovia Lake. Learn how our water moves and how our activities can impact this important resource in a crash-course in hydrology by USGS Hydrologist Andrew Kowalczyk. Then, learn about what's in our water! Representatives from Madison County Department of Health will share results from recent water samplings in our area and let you know how you can get free water testing…

ESF Adaptive Peaks Lecture: Lion conservation on a crowded continent.

The Adaptive Peaks lecture series at SUNY-ESF is free and open to all members of the public who are interested in hearing about new research and asking questions on key environmental issues. Hands-On Stream Science

Join CPF and Mat Webber of Project Watershed to learn about hands-on (or feet-in) techniques for evaluating stream health. Study the physical, chemical and biological aspects of Chittenango Creek by learning to measure stream velocity, dissolved oxygen content and identify local macro invertebrates. Adults and children of all ages are welcome. Come prepared to get dirty, wet and have a great time! Meet at the Creekside area behind the Cazenovia Public Library

Lincklaen House Sign Unveiling

Please join us for a simple dedication and unveiling of the RESTORED Lincklaen House Sign on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 4:30 PM in front of the Lincklaen House. Mayor Kurt Wheeler will preside over the event.   The Lincklaen House Sign Restoration Project was initiated by CPF through a grant from Common Grounds. CPF thanks Ted Bartlett for spearheading the assessment and repair of the iconic Cazenovia village landmark.

Annual CPF Awards and Meeting The Cazenovia Preservation Foundation (CPF) will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, May 23 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at St. Peter’s Church in Parish Hall at 10 Mill Street, Cazenovia. Native Flora Walk

Summer Solstice Yoga

Greet the longest day of the year by performing gentle yoga atop Fairchild Hill, with a spectacular view of Caz lake and the surrounding landscape.
