Walks 'n Talks: Birding Series—Bobolinks and Meadowlarks

  • Burlingame Trail Parking Lot Cazenovia, NY United States (map)

Wondering where the bobolinks and meadowlarks are nesting this year? Join avid birder and former CPF board president, Jim Steinberg, for a guided bird walk to identify nesting site locations in the Burlingame meadow. We'll try to determine how many nesting pairs are back this year, identify general locations of nesting sites, and also see who else is singing in the hedgerow and forest edge.

Just bring your enthusiasm, comfortable footwear that you don't mind getting muddy, and a pair of binoculars. All levels and abilities are welcome.

Directions: Take Route 13 south from Cazenovia toward New Woodstock. Turn right onto Burlingame Road and proceed for 0.7 miles. Look for the CPF trail sign, and park in the small Burlingame trail gravel parking lot on the right-hand side of the road.
