2023 Preservation Award Winners

Each year, CPF presents several preservation awards to honor building restoration, landscape projects, and individuals that have made a significant contribution to preserving the unique character of the Cazenovia area. Nominations are submitted by community members and then reviewed by CPF’s Architectural Preservation and Land Use Committee. Awards are presented during CPF’s Annual Meeting.

The 2023 Award Winners are:

  • Robert C. Webster Award: (Individual) For outstanding contributions in the fields of conservation and preservation— Mike Walker

  • Restoration Award: (Business, Individual or Group) For thoughtful restoration and preservation of a structure that contributes to the historic character of the community— Larry and Glenda Wetzel, 8 Liberty Street

  • Restoration Award: (Business, Individual or Group) For thoughtful restoration and preservation of a structure that contributes to the historic character of the community— Heidi Ravven, Century House at 36 Albany Street

  • Landscape Award: (Individual or Group) Awarded for protecting or enhancing the natural resources and non-built landscape of the Cazenovia area— Lorenzo State Historic Site

  • NEW! Judy Z. Gianforte Conservation Stewardship Award: (Individual) For a volunteer who has made exemplary contributions to conservation land stewardship — Judy Z. Gianforte
