Join CPF for a fall foliage hike along the South Trail, with beautiful views from the former route of the Lehigh Valley Railroad.

We'll enjoy an approximately 2.5 mile out-and-back hike on the flat gravel trail. Walking south from Ballina Road, the trail crosses Chittenango Creek on an historic trestle bridge.

On the way back, we'll make a brief stop at Critz Farms to enjoy their Fall Festival attractions.

Directions: We’ll meet at the Ballina Road trailhead. Take Route 13 south from Cazenovia toward New Woodstock. Turn left onto Ballina Road and proceed for 0.4 miles. Look for the CPF trail sign on the right-hand side of the road.

Limited parking is along the north and south side of Ballina Road; car-pooling is encouraged. Wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather.
