The Cazenovia Preservation Foundation (CPF) is delighted to present the 2024 Walk Among the Spirits event, now in its tenth year!
Join us in historic Evergreen Cemetery where guides will lead you by lantern light to meet spirits from Cazenovia’s past who will share their tales of adventure and intrigue. No jump scares, just good fun.
Don’t miss this popular event! This is the final year it will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Next year, we will be moving it to a new location.
Dates: Thursday, Oct. 24, Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct 26. (Rain date: Sunday, Oct. 27.)
Time: One-hour tours depart every 10 minutes from 7-8 pm.
Location: Evergreen Cemetery, 22 Burton Street, Cazenovia, NY.
Ticket Prices: $13 Adults; $6 Seniors (age 62+) and Students.
Choose your day and time in advance! Pre-purchase tickets online. Same-day tickets will be available on a first come, first-served basis. Check the website before coming, to make sure we are not sold out for the night.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR TICKET HOLDERS: Please arrive on time for your scheduled time slot. If you're late, we'll do our best to accommodate you in a later session that night, but we cannot guarantee availability. No refunds will be given for late arrivals.
Tenth Anniversary Challenge!
To celebrate the final year that Walk Among the Spirits will be at Historic Evergreen Cemetery, we're launching a special contest!
Can you solve the mystery? The background art for our poster features an actual headstone from Evergreen Cemetery. If you can correctly name the individual on the gravestone, you'll be entered into a raffle for a CPF tote bag, T-shirt, and other locally-made goodies!
How to enter:
1. Locate the headstone. We recommend you look for it during the daylight between now and when you attend the WATS event.
2. Write the name from the gravestone on your raffle entry form, available at the check-in table from October 24-26.
To help in your search, here are three clues!
Clue #1: Your search will benefit from a little luck of the Irish and a glance to the west.
Clue #2: Lace up your hiking shoes. Your search will lead you off the beaten path.
Clue #3: It's a beautiful day for a picnic in Evergreen Cemetery.
