New CPF Award Presented

CPF has established a new award, the Judy Gianforte Land Stewardship Award, which will be conferred annually to a volunteer who has made exemplary contributions to conservation land stewarship. The first award was presented to Judy herself at a volunteer appreciation event held on April 10, 2024 at Madison County Distillery.

Since 2007, Judy has worked tirelessly to advance CPF’s mission through her work on farmland and open-space protection, trail maintenance, education and outreach, and historic preservation. As conservation manager, she shepherded CPF through a series of initiatives, including CPF’s initial application for accreditation by the Land Trust Alliance. CPF honors Judy Gianforte for her commitment to conservation and land stewardship.
