LTA Accreditation Renewal

CPF is excited to share that the Land Trust Alliance (LTA) has renewed our accreditation. Through a rigorous review process completed by the national Land Trust Accreditation Commission, CPF has demonstrated continued excellence in fiscal accountability, organizational leadership, sound transaction practices, and diligent stewardship of the lands we conserve. The Land Trust Accreditation Commission announced CPF’s accreditation renewal in March 2024.

Accreditation status provides potential land and easement donors with assurance that CPF can steward their property in perpetuity. Importantly, it is also an eligibility requirement for certain state and private grant programs, such as the Forest Conservation Easements for Land Trusts (FCELT) grant program and The Nature Conservancy of New York’s Resilient & Connected Network Grant Program.
