Every last Thursday of the month, April through October, you can join CPF board-members, staff, and other volunteers for an hour or two of beautifying your community trails, then maybe grab some refreshments at one of the local establishments. We meet up, collect tools, divide into work crews, and go! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and bring work gloves.
This week, we'll be:
Sanding and staining benches (bring sanding blocks/oil brushes)
Arriving late? Meet us here: Freshening the Upper Fairchild Loop with gravel and eradicating garlic mustard (bring wheelbarrow and shovels)
Walking & trimming at Fairchild Hill, Burlingame, and the Gorge Trail in preparation for National Trails Day (bring loppers/pruners)
We will meet at the St. Peter's Church parking lot (10 Mill Street) at 4:30 pm, collect tools, divide into work crews and go! Afterwards, refreshments will be provided by CPF Board member Leslie Bowser at Meier's Creek Brewing Company (33 Rippleton Rd.).
Your RSVP to jwong@cazpreservation.org will help us plan projects. We will post any weather-related cancellations at cazpreservation.org/events by 3:30 PM.
